After escaping the clenches of GRYM THE EXECUTIONER, the creature ventured through a portal to the past. As it awoke, the beast realized that time itself had changed. It wandered for centuries throughout this new world hidden among the elements. Until one day, it stumbled upon an open gate to the Underworld. As it entered this unknown realm, the creature noticed entities wandering aimlessly around a marshland. The beast also noticed warriors that were trapped in a swamp as well. One in particular it had remembered from the future! A great hero that saved his world and fought by the Protector's side! Without wasting another moment the creature lunged toward the heroes. As he walked upon them, a hand reached out from the swamps and grabbed his leg. It started to pull him under, but the beast fought back! He emerged from the slime only having his boots covered. The creature grabbed a hold of KRY-SIS and pulled him from the swamp!
